Mooncake is a special food for the traditional Chinese festival, Mid-Autumn Festival. On September 12th, the International Students Office organised a mooncake making event in the food cooking experience area on the second floor of the North Cafeteria.
More than 30 international students from more than 10 countries, including Germany, the United States, Russia, France, Switzerland, Canada, Malaysia, Indonesia, Slovakia, Thailand, Myanmar, Vietnam, Kyrgyzstan, etc. participated in the activity.
Staff from the university canteen demonstrated the process of making mooncakes to the students. The international students showcased their creativity by crafting mooncakes of various shapes, colors and flavors.
